Why I built PayOnJobs.

I am Brandon Rodriguez. I live in Massachusetts and I have spent the last several years running paid marketing for service businesses across New England. HVAC, roofing, concrete, pool, pest. Real shops with real trucks and real owners who are 50 to 65 years old.

What I kept seeing was the same pattern. An agency would sign one of these owners on a $3,000 a month retainer, run mediocre campaigns for six months, get fired, and the owner would be down $18,000 and not much closer to a working marketing system. The owner blamed himself. The agency blamed the owner's budget, his close rate, his answer rate, anything but the agency's work.

I started running campaigns for a couple of those owners on a handshake. No retainer, no setup fee, I would take a cut of the revenue from jobs we booked. It was a more honest deal. They paid me when they made money. I worked harder when they paid me more.

The handshake version did not scale. So I built the operating system around it: real Stripe Connect, real AI on the phone so calls do not go to voicemail at 2am, real invoicing, real reporting. PayOnJobs is what I wish those owners had when they got pitched the $3,000 retainer.

The deal is simple: $0 upfront, $0 monthly, 17% of revenue from jobs we book through your dedicated line. Stripe auto-splits the money at the moment of payment so neither of us has to chase the other. If we send you zero jobs in a month, you owe us nothing.

I take fewer than 6 new partners per quarter. One per trade per 25-mile radius, so the partner I sign in your zip is your closest competitor's loss, not yours. I read every application personally and call back within 24 hours.
